The Met Gala is THE event for superstars and topmodels to team up with their favourite designers and to make an appearance in extravagant and elaborate haute-couture. I guess there's no red carpet where the line between stunning and terrible is as thin as at the Met. Whilst clicking through the images on style.com me and my sister were either extremely delighted or shocked. This is my 2012 best dressed list:
Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn both in Burberry Prorsum and Diane Krüger in Prada
Lana del Rey in custom Joseph Altuzarra and Hanneli Mustaparta in Calvin Klein Collection
Anna Wintour in Prada and Gisele Bündchen in Givenchy Haute Couture
Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen and Joan Smalls in Balmain
Poppy Delevingne in Chanel and Rosie Huntington-Whitely in Burberry Prorsum
Ashley Greene in custom Donna Karan and Anja Rubik in Anthony Vaccarello
Worst dressed: Kristen Stewart (ugh,seriously?? I have no words for that), Florence Welch and somehow, I have no idea how that could happen, Alexa Chung, she looked like a primary school teacher gone domina and the dress didn't really fit her... really dissapointed.

I feel like Lana Del Rey's look was a tad too vampire-esque for me. I agree with your worst dressed; I can't even defend Kristen anymore. Otherwise, I'm not too jazzed about Anja Rubik's but it's growing on me. I feel like it's one of those Angelina Jolie at the 2012 Grammy's moments. One of my top favorites was Beyonce's though. Amazing.

Ashley Greens Kleid ist sehr schön! Kristen Stewart hat den Vogel sowas von abgeschossen mit dem.. Ding, das sie da trug und Anja Rubik wirkt in diesem Kleid noch knochiger als sonst, echt nicht mehr schön.
Das letzte Kleid ist ja ganz schrecklich!

Ich hätte jedes Outfit von ihnen tragen können.Beyonce ,Dianae Krüger,Heidi Klum & Elizabeth Banks einfach schrecklich. Und Rihanna ich finde sie wollte wie Gwyneth Paltrow bei den Oscars aussehen halt nur in schwarz. ich finde sie sollte die finger von Tom Ford, Stelle MCcartney und co. lassen.

es ist wirklich komisch dass die, die normalerweise so stilsicher sind (alexa,florence) diesmal so daneben gegriffen haben...ich war schon wirklich gespannt auf alexas outfit und als ich es gesehen habe, dachte ich mir auch nur so: OH NOOOO :) wenn das kleid kürzer gewesen wäre, hätte es vielleicht ein wenig besser ausgesehen, aber dieses halblange monstrum aus leder war wirklich zu viel des guten :D einzig und allein die schuhe fand ich schön
Anja Rubik is a beautiful woman... with an eating disorder. I think that this dress accentuate's exactly how tin she is - her tiny leg with her hip bone sticking out? Her gaunt cheeks? Her shoulders? Her beautiful hair might be naturally thin, or it could be that she's ill.
There are some beautiful people here and beautiful clothing, but I want to sit down with Anja Rubik over a full balanced meal and talk to her about much the fashion industry, though we might love it, sucks.
